Definition

A Virtual Position is a computed availability record within a Virtual Catalog. It represents:
  • the baseline available quantity derived from one or more Inventory Positions or Inventory Quantities
  • is calculated using inventory data and Controls such as buffers and exclusions
Virtual Position Concepts:
  • Base (location-specific)
  • Aggregate (e.g., sums across all locations in a Network)
